How To Wear A Scarf On The Head

Part I

STEP 1 Fold a skinny scarf (like the one we used!) in half STEP 2 Center the scarf at the nape of your neck STEP 3 Bring each side to the front of your head and collect them slightly above one ear STEP 4 Tie a double knot STEP 5 Let the ends hang like a side ponytail

Part II

STEP 1 Follow the directions for Part I STEP 2 Twist the sides STEP 3 Wrap the twist around the knot STEP 4 Continue to wrap one or two more times STEP 5 Tuck in the ends

STEP 1 Use a long rectangle scarf (We recommend one of these!) STEP 2 Center the scarf on your forehead STEP 3 Collect the sides at the nape of your neck like a low ponytail STEP 4 Tie a knot at the nape of your neck STEP 5 Bring each side to the front of your head STEP 6 Criss-cross the sides on top of your head STEP 7 Bring the sides back down STEP 8 Tuck in the ends

STEP 2 Center the scarf at the nape of your neck STEP 3 Bring the ends forward like a towel STEP 4 Tightly twist the sides STEP 5 Continue to twist as you wrap around the crown of your head STEP 6 Tuck the ends under the beginning portion of the twist

STEP 1 Follow the steps for Part I STEP 2 Untuck the twist STEP 3 At your forehead, begin twisting the sides together STEP 4 Lay the twist down to one side STEP 5 Tuck in the ends

STEP 1 Knot a few strands of a pashmina (like this one!) together STEP 2 Center the scarf on your forehead STEP 3 Bring the sides over your ears STEP 4 Collect the sides at the nape of your neck like a low ponytail STEP 5 Twist the loop in back once STEP 6 Bring the loop to the front of your head STEP 7 Twist the loop at the top of your head STEP 8 Lay the remaining loop on the back of your head STEP 9 Tuck in one tail

STEP 3 Center the scarf on your forehead STEP 4 Bring the sides over your ears and to the nape of your neck like a low ponytail STEP 5 Pull half of the scarf through the hair tie STEP 6 Twist the hair tie STEP 7 Bunch and pull some more of the scar through the hair tie

STEP 1 Hold a long rectangle scarf horizontally (We used this one!) STEP 2 Center the scarf at the nape of your neck STEP 3 Bring the ends forward like a towel STEP 4 Tie a knot to the side, near your temple STEP 5 Continue to knot down the length of the scarf STEP 6 Repeat until ¼ of the ends remain STEP 7 Pull the knots back to frame the edge of the scarf STEP 8 Tuck in the ends
